One of our sweet little guys, Rocky passed away this morning. We are just heart broken. He was so tiny at birth, pretty much skin and bones . We worried that he might struggle, but he seemed to be improving, feeding and getting stronger. But this morning I found him away from his mommy, weak and very cold. It was so sad. We tried what we could to warm him up but he was just too weak, wouldn't eat and faded away.
THIS is really the hard part of breeding. It's our first fatality and it stinks. Other breeders tell me it's all part of the experience...but it still stinks.

I'm sorry. That's sad, since you watched his birth and all. Remember, even animals will be resurrected! Happy Easter!!
oh man. that really stinks. its sad how some of them don't survive. i don't know how claudia can do it as much as she does.
